My Gold Award pin.
And a proud one at that.
Scouts has not only taught me how to build a fire and cook food over it, but it has also taught me how to be strong, confident, and brave.
I don’t think there has ever been a time where I was more proud to be a girl scout than I am right now. We’re doing a sisterhood journey, and I’m really starting to see how great of a thing it is to have been given the opportunity to grow up with such head-strong girls.
Yeah. Girl scouts rock.

Do you see this book? It is a Girl Scout Journey book. I have to do this:
- Identify a relationship issue you want to take action on.
- Brainstorm a solution.
- Assess your resources.
- Create a realistic plan, including a time line.
- Spread the word.
- Carry out your Take Action Project
- Reflect on your projects results.
In order to do this, I made a new blog called gay-people-are-people-too.tumblr.com. I would really appreciate if you followed it. Since I literally just made it, there are no posts.
The point of the blog is to spread the word about bullying due to sexualities using photos, news stories, testimonials from the bullied (or witnesses and past bullies), and text posts. Anyone can apply to be an admin or submit posts. The ask will always be open and someone will answer with a reasonable and positive reaction. No hate mail will ever be published, so you don’t have to worry about it cloggin up your feed.
I will personally message every person who reblogs this post and/or follows that blog. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this!
